Job description:

HealthPartners is seeking an accomplished leader to direct HealthPartners’ fundraising initiatives, marketing and communications strategies, and its operations in Quebec as its next Vice President, Business Development and Marketing. Fluently bilingual, the Vice President will be a key member of HealthPartners’ Senior Leadership Team and will play a lead role in the overall direction of the organization.

Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President will be responsible for developing and implementing a revenue development strategy, including a focus on maintaining and growing existing accounts as well as new business development. Engaged in high-level strategy and looked to for advice and counsel within the organization, the Vice President will oversee all marketing and communications functions for HealthPartners, including the transition to a more digital-focused and digital savvy organization. As a fluently bilingual leader, the Vice President will also direct a small team in Quebec that raises funds for the Quebec divisions of its national health charities. HealthPartners adopted a new strategic plan in 2020 that sees a focus on building a strong brand, increasing its focus on mental health, growing and diversifying revenue, and ensuring the organization has the foundational building blocks for future success. The Vice President will be responsible for driving two of these critical functions.

As the ideal candidate, you are motivated by the desire to make a difference for Canadians facing chronic disease and their caregivers. You bring a track-record of organizational excellence, strong relationship management skills (both internal and external), and exceptional business development and communications skills to the organization. You possess deep knowledge of workplace giving, fundraising, and employee engagement strategies that you can readily mobilize. A strategic and collaborative leader, you are driven to leverage your dynamic business development and marketing expertise in a leadership position in order to drive social impact in the healthcare sector. You are a mentor and an inclusive leader of people with a proven track record of building and nurturing strong teams. Your ability to communicate effectively in both official languages (English and French) is a mandatory requirement for this role.
