Job description:

Are you someone who is driven by positive change, a people person determined to make a difference in the lives of others? We’re offering you an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the greater community, while strengthening the commitment of Kidney Foundation volunteers.

Reporting to the Director of Community Engagement and Relations, you will:

  • Contribute to the strategic development of volunteer engagement for the Quebec Branch—analyzing needs at all stages of the volunteer management cycle, developing new tools, overseeing timelines, conducting reviews, etc.
  • Establish, maintain, and reinforce close ties with key volunteers in Quebec’s chapters—responding to their support requests, welcoming prospects, conducting follow-ups, etc.
  • Manage entries in the volunteer database and properly maintain the data
  • Represent the Foundation at events—patient and healthcare professional outreach, membership, integration, recognition, etc.
  • Coordinate the Branch’s Recognition Awards program—overseeing timelines, receiving nominations, organizing awards ceremonies, etc.

You’re our ideal candidate if you have:

  • A certificate in volunteer management or other relevant training
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of the MS Office suite
  • Fluency in English and French (spoken and written)
  • Adaptability
  • Interpersonal, listening and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of the Raiser’s Edge platform (a definite asset)
  • Attention to detail
