This award honours a professional who has demonstrated exemplary leadership and exceptional innovation in the philanthropy sector over the past year by successfully completing one or several special projects such as:

  • Virtual event
  • Deployment of a social media campaign
  • Crisis management and change management
  • Interinstitutional collaboration
  • Education in Philanthropy
  • Another innovative philanthropic project

Nominations must address the following criteria (250 words per criteria max):

  • Description of the nominee’s work and contribution to his/her cause(s) (you may include the nominee’s involvement with multiple organizations). (0-40 points) 
    Provide description of :

    • (1) leadership role and responsibilities
    • (2) ability to organize and manage campaigns and groups
    • (3) time, effort and personal financial commitment.
    • (4) ressources put in place to ensure the success of the project
  • Description of the special project, its innovative aspect and the impact of the candidate’s work on the organization’s ability to offer programs and services. (0-40 points)

  • Description of the nominee’s work in encouraging and motivating others to get involved with and/or take leadership roles in philanthropy. (0-20 points)

Particular attention will be paid to candidates who have had a significant impact in philanthropy in the context of the pandemic.

Please attach responses to the above criteria in a summary format of no more than 250 words per criteria and a picture of the nominee. Enumerate each criterion and address each one separately in narrative form.

All nominations must be submitted by a not-for-profit organization.
