This award recognizes an individual, or group of young people, who demonstrates outstanding commitment to the community through direct financial support, development of charitable programs, volunteering and leadership in philanthropy.

Nominations must address the following criteria (250 words max per criteria):

  • Description in detail of the nominee’s contribution of time, talent and/or financial resources and the results that were achieved. (0-40 points)
  • Description of the impact the nominee had on the community, including number of people involved, financial impact, organizations supported etc. (0-40 points)
  • Description of the long-term impact (3-5 years +) of the nominee’s work. Will the project be ongoing and has the nominee considered the next steps or is working on other projects. (0-20 points)

Particular attention will be paid to candidates who have had a significant impact in philanthropy in the context of the pandemic.

Please attach responses to the above criteria in a summary format of no more than 250 words per criteria and a picture of the nominee. Enumerate each criterion and address each one separately in narrative form.

All nominations must be submitted by a not-for-profit organization.
