Each year, within the context of governance, the AFP – Québec Chapter must elect the directors of our Board for a one-year mandate (renewable annually for up to eight years). These play a key role in implementing the strategic plan according to our goal of fostering the development and growth of fundraising professionals committed to preserving and enhancing philanthropy.
By nominating yourself you will have the opportunity to influence the direction of AFP – Quebec Chapter in a very concrete way, a term beginning on July 1, 2020.

The acting Chair is Elsa Desjardins, MBA, whose 2-year mandate ends in June 2021. Daniel H.Lanteigne,CFRE, President-Elect, will take her place following this mandate. Luce Moreau, CFRE, Past President is in charge of the committee on Directorship.
Role of the Board
The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing and supervising the conduct of business of the association. It monitors its decisions and is accountable for its results.
Furthermore, with regards to committee responsibility, each member is required to commit to at least one of them, either as a member or as president in order to contribute to the growth of our association.
