It was a wonderful and helpful experience to take the Fundamentals of Fundraising course with AFP, and I am grateful for the support of their scholarship. Being new to the world of philanthropy, this course allowed me to acquire the knowledge and tools necessary to develop my fundraising skills. It enabled me to expand my contact network by creating links with both the trainers – who were experienced professionals, and the other participants. Although the course was given by videoconference, the educational aspect was well preserved. The trainers created a space for constructive dialogue, which allowed the participants to go into depth in the subject. They were competent, dynamic and passionate, which greatly facilitated the understanding for all.
