Session offered in French, Q&A in French and English.

Our brains are lazy.

And when faced with the thousands of decisions we have to make every day, they’ve developed mental shortcuts known as cognitive biases. Without them, our brains would overheat over the smallest decision.

No one escapes them. We all have cognitive biases that influence every one of our decisions — including your donors’.

You can choose to ignore them, but they will still influence whether someone decides to donate to your cause or not.

So it’s better to understand cognitive biases and take them into account (ethically) in your communications so they can work in support of your mission:

❌ Without manipulating people
❌ Without compromising your values
❌ And without twisting your donors’ arms

In one hour, the speaker will explain:

✅ 5 cognitive biases that are easy to understand — no psychology PhD required
✅ 5 powerful philanthropic copywriting techniques based on donor psychology that you can start applying tomorrow
✅ 5 concrete examples drawn from the philanthropic sector

Increase donations using cognitive biases — without compromising your values.

PS – And yes, you already take cognitive biases into account in your marketing (perhaps without realizing it). For example, when you add testimonials to your website or donation appeal emails, you’re relying on a cognitive bias called social proof (other people’s decisions influence our own). The speaker will introduce you to five more.
