This is the only cold-calling training for professionals in Development. Somehow it’s just assumed that we can call wealthy philanthropists and they will just pick up the phone. Engaging the right prospects, individual major gifts prospects but also foundation and corporate prospects is very difficult and seldom taught. We will study the key aspects of getting the first appointment with a cold prospect – messages, email, voicemail, tone and more.

Armando Zumaya has been in fundraising for 34 years. He has spent the bulk of his fundraising career as a Major Gift, Leadership Gifts and Annual Fund Officer on two $1+ billion dollar campaigns at Cornell University and the University of California, Berkeley.
