Patricia Falzon, CFRE, Executive Director of Principal Gifts at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario

Patricia Falzon, CFRE, is the Executive Director of Principal Gifts at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario Canada. She returned to her native Canada to establish a Principal Giving office at Queen’s University, providing strategic direction and leadership for transformational initiatives of the highest value and priority to the University.

  

Patricia brings to Queen’s a breadth of development, planning and management experience in the nonprofit arts and higher education sectors. Her personal passion and career focus are to help donors create meaningful impact in partnership with mission-driven organizations.

Over the past two decades, she has held leadership roles in Orange County California, at the Wooden Floor, Orange County Museum of Art and South Coast Repertory, where her responsibilities included the planning and leadership of a $40M comprehensive campaign. Most recently, Patricia led major fundraising programs with the University of California, Irvine – Health Sciences and California State University, Fullerton – College of the Arts. In those roles she successfully initiated new programs, expanded donor engagement, and led the successful solicitation of numerous major and principal gifts.

Patricia’s earliest and formative fundraising experiences were with leading Canadian arts institutions, the Shaw Festival, the Art Gallery of Ontario and Young People’s Theatre. Her work continues to be guided by values instilled in those professional experiences – creativity, excellence and community.
