Women play a central role in advancing philanthropy. Yet, access to leadership positions continues to present unique challenges that require skills in leadership, influence, and management—skills that are rarely developed together through a single learning journey.

AFP Québec is proud to launch the first structured training program dedicated to women’s leadership in philanthropy. Designed specifically for professionals working in the sector, this program aims to equip participants with the tools to strengthen their executive presence, enhance their ability to influence, navigate decision-making environments with confidence, and prepare for leadership roles.

Beyond knowledge acquisition, this program stands out through its highly interactive approach. Each module will be enriched by conversations with inspiring panelists, including some of the most recognized leaders and experts in philanthropy in Québec. These discussions will provide participants with privileged access to exceptional leadership journeys, practical advice, and strategic insights into the challenges and opportunities related to women’s leadership.

The curriculum is structured around three modules covering the following topics:

Module 1 – Executive Presence and Influential Communication

Develop an inspiring executive presence, strengthen your credibility, and master communication strategies that enable you to persuade, engage, and influence with confidence—whether working with teams, boards of directors, senior executives, or major donors.

Module 2 – Strategic Leadership and Influence

Deepen your strategic thinking, strengthen your ability to make decisions in complex environments, build lasting influence, and learn to navigate governance structures and executive decision-making with confidence.

Module 3 – Talent Management and Engaging Leadership

Explore management practices that foster employee engagement, high performance, and professional growth. Learn how to inspire and develop talent, lead organizational change, and cultivate a culture of collaboration, trust, and excellence.
