Bilingual: presentation in English, slides in French

No matter how you identify a major gift prospect for your organization, the goal is to engage and inspire more constituents to invest more significantly in the mission of your organization. That requires an efficient system to build a robust prospect list.

Major Donors Are Closer Than You Think

Your next major gift donor may not be a stranger. They are probably already connected to your organization. The key is knowing where to look and how to recognize their potential.

This workshop will walk you through practical strategies for uncovering high-potential prospects from within your existing networks.

Unlock the potential of your data

We’ll explore how to leverage your organization’s data, understand the characteristics of a strong major gift prospect, and create an efficient, replicable system for building a robust prospect list.

At the end of the session, participants will leave with:

  • A practical framework for prospect identification that can be implemented immediately.
  • A list of actionable places to look for potential major gift donors both internally and externally.
  • Greater confidence in building a prospect list that supports sustainable and scalable major gift fundraising.

Key Themes

  • Leveraging internal data and existing relationships to identify major gift prospects.
  • Recognizing the common attributes and indicators of major gift donors.
  • Finding and qualifying potential donors beyond your existing network when gaps remain
